Congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is a serious disease with multiorgan involvement.Encephalitis is the most dangerous complication in CMW syndrome.CMW is assumed to be result of transplacental transmission and is the most common viral infection in fetuses and neonates.In this paper,one case of congenital CMW encephalitis gradually forming panventricular calcifation is presented.
